Latin jazz sensation Eliana Cuevas brings her unique sound to the Playhouse

The Fredericton Playhouse is pleased to partner with the Multicultural Association of Fredericton to present acclaimed Latin jazz singer-songwriter Eliana Cuevas on Thursday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m.

An award-winning performer, Cuevas is known for her ability to seamlessly blend genres from blues to pop with her signature soaring vocals and Latin jazz sound. The Venezuelan-born, Toronto-based artist has toured across Canada and around the world, earning her the title of “Canada’s Latin music queen.”

On her latest album, Espejo, Cuevas pushes her creative boundaries, taking the listener on a captivating musical journey. During her live performance, audiences will be wowed by Cuevas’ impressive vocal range, complete with insightful lyrics, a fast-paced Venezuelan rhythm, and of course, her unique brand of jazz.

This performance is presented as part of the Multicultural Association of Fredericton’s annual Cultural Expressions Festival, taking place from Thursday, June 26 to Saturday, June 28. Designed to showcase the many diverse backgrounds represented in our community, this year’s festival celebrates Latin America culture with the theme Carnavale: Vida la Vida.
