Fredericton’s favourite Christmas show is holding acting auditions on Saturday October 23 in the Green Room of the Black Box Theatre (James Dunn Hall, St. Thomas University). Auditions will take place from 2pm to 5pm, on a first-come first-served basis by sign-up sheet. No advanced preparation is necessary, as sides will be provided to the actors upon arrival.
We are looking for male and female actors of all ages to fill a number of roles in the show. Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of what has become a tradition with Fredericton audiences. We have assembled a fabulous creative team again this year, with some exciting new ideas for a contemporary re-telling of a classic story.
The 2010 edition of Christmas @theplayhouse will be directed by Tania Breen, with associate direction by Philip Sexsmith, and will feature original musical arrangements by award-winning composer/musician Michael Doherty.
The production will run from December 16 –19, 2010. Rehearsals take place on Sunday afternoons, and will become more frequent closer to production week.
