Fredericton Playhouse Inc., a charitable non-profit organization which manages and develops a 709-seat performance venue, has an exciting opportunity for a Development Director to join our team.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Director is responsible for the management and development of the organization’s grant portfolio, donor program, sponsorship portfolio, and special fundraising events and campaigns.

The successful candidate has a track record of corporate, government and/or private fundraising management. They possess both a post-secondary education in a relevant field of study and professional experience in fund development or non-profit administration.

They have strong networking and relationship building skills and proven success in building community partnerships. They can demonstrate superior writing, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills and can also demonstrate competencies in research, proposal writing, use of office technology, and collaboration. They will also have a strong appreciation of the public value of the performing arts.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience and training. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, the starting salary range for this position is $50,032 to $65,043 annually.
