Ballet enthusiasts won’t want to miss out on The Nutcracker by Dance Fredericton. This classic ballet features original choreography, elaborate costuming and sets, and the classical score by Tchaikovsky – it’s sure to delight audiences of all ages.

A Holly Cole Christmas – Dec. 3

Canadian Jazz Icon Holly Cole returns to the Playhouse stage to spread a little “naughty and nice.” And like Santa, she’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit with her fresh take on well-worn standards and eclectic selection of holiday material.

Fredericton Symphony Orchestra with Fredericton Choral Society – Dec. 6

In this special holiday presentation, the Fredericton Symphony Orchestra will deliver Rimsky Korsakov’s Christmas Eve Suite before being joined with the Choral Society following the intermission. Together they will perform selections from Handel’s Messiah and a selection of well known holiday favourites that everyone can sing along to.

Tales of a Charlie Brown Christmas with the Jerry Granelli Trio: Dec. 17

In 1965, world-class jazz musician Jerry Granelli recorded the soundtrack for a scrappy little animated Christmas special featuring the Peanuts gang. No one knew then that this recording would become the iconic soundtrack to the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas. Tales of A Charlie Brown Christmas with the Jerry Granelli Trio, features the music and stories from the classic special A Charlie Brown Christmas.
