TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Fredericton Playhouse Inc., a charitable non-profit organization that manages and develops a 709-seat performance venue, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Technical Services Manager is responsible for the delivery of quality, effective technical services to users of the Fredericton Playhouse.
Working directly with artists, user groups and other team members, the successful candidate will have a desire to meet and exceed expectations in a customer-centric role. A member of the organization’s management team, they embrace collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement in their approach to their work.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse compliment of full-time and casual employees in a unionized (IATSE) working environment. Although they do not have a hands-on role, they will have a good working knowledge of various areas of technical services and theatrical production equipment and operations.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong managerial, organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; works well under pressure, is able to work in a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends), functions well in a computerized work environment, and has a personal passion for the performing arts.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and training. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, the starting salary range for this position is $49,196 to $65,596 annually.
