Coming to the Fredericton Playhouse on Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m., Classic Albums Live will recreate Pink Floyd’s The Wall, widely considered to be one of the greatest rock records of all time.

Released in 1979, The Wall features classic tracks like “Nobody Home” and “Comfortably Numb.” This rock opera concept album showcases Pink Floyd at its peak, exploring lofty themes such as abandonment and isolation. The Wall has sold 33 million albums worldwide, making it the best-selling double album of all time.

For more than a decade, the accomplished musicians of Classic Albums Live have recreated some of the greatest albums of the ’60s and ’70s live on stage. During this special performance, audiences will experience the album brought to life, exactly as it sounded when it was first released, without any stunts or gimmicks.

The performance will also feature a local children’s chorus on the song “Another Brick in the Wall,” made up of a group of young people from the YMCA and the Multicultural Association of Fredericton. These youths are part of In the Y House, a drop-in program that offers arts, sport and leadership opportunities.

The Wall is still a best-selling album today – find out why during this pitch perfect recreation by Classic Albums Live.
