The Intergalactic Nemesis embarks on an epic adventure

by on February 10, 2014

On Tuesday, February 25 at 7:30 p.m., The Intergalactic Nemesis – Book One: Target Earth lands on the Fredericton Playhouse stage. This is a performance like no other, combining the drama of a radio play with the art of a graphic novel to create an incredible sci-fi story.

Now in its third touring season, this production has been featured on NPR and Conan O’Brien, and has hit more than 80 venues around the world. This one-of-a-kind, all-ages show is not to be missed.

The premise is simple: The Intergalactic Nemesis is a period adventure story with no shortage of laughs, featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Molly Sloan, her intrepid assistant Timmy Mendez, and a mysterious librarian named Ben Wilcott. Together, they face the most serious threat Earth has ever known: an impending invasion of sludge monsters from the planet Zygon.

The telling is what makes the experience of The Intergalactic Nemesis so incredibly unique. While three actors, one Foley artist and one keyboardist perform all the voices, sound effects and music, more than 1,000 hand-drawn, full colour, hi-res comic book images blast from a huge screen, all live on stage.

Get ready to embark on an epic adventure through the known universe and beyond, and watch a graphic novel come to life before your eyes.

Tickets for The Intergalactic Nemesis are available through the Fredericton Playhouse box office 1-866-884-5800, or online at
