A thousand perils, nine companions, and three masterworks. And one man to do it all.

4_omlotrAfter wowing Fredericton audiences last year with his hysterical performance of One Man Star Wars Trilogy, Canadian actor, playwright and self-proclaimed “professional geek” Charles Ross is back with another jaw-dropping performance on Friday, October 11 at 7:30pm. In One Man Lord of The Rings, Ross recreates the enchanting world of Middle-earth with nothing more than elbow pads and his outrageous imagination.

In this 60-minute show, Ross hurtles his way through the entire Tolkien trilogy – The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King – recreating the magical world of Middle-earth and all its enchanting characters. In 3600 seconds Charles manages to complete Frodo’s epic journey from the Shire to the fire.

Riveting stage fights, harrowing rescues, brilliant vocal sound effects – Ross captures every character without props or costumes at lightning speed. Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, Boromir, Gimli, Legolas, the majestic Gandalf and the malicious Gollum are all re-enacted with such hilarious speed – it is an amazing spectacle to watch. If you’ve seen the movies or have read the books you’ll love Charles Ross performance of One Man Lord of the Rings.

Don’t miss the chance to see this incredible one man tour de force in action!
