18_OMSWTIn One Man Star Wars Trilogy, writer-performer Charles Ross takes the audience on a riotous, live action interpretation of the original Star Wars films. Ross plays all the characters, recreates the effects, sings from John Williams’s famous score, flies the ships and fights both sides of the light saber battles, complete with captivating facts and editorial asides. It’s a hilarious, one-of-a-kind tribute to the sci-fi classic. Hailed as “nerdier and funnier than you can imagine” (SPIN), Ross has performed One Man Star Wars more than 1,200 times in more than 180 cities across four continents. And on Friday, February 8, he’s coming to The Fredericton Playhouse.

Ross’ creations have become recognized around the globe with word of his unique talent spreading like wildfire with recent appearances on Craig Ferguson, The Today Show, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. His off-Broadway debut in August 2005 was a smashing success with critics raving about the incredible intensity that Charles brings to his work.

Witness the stage come to life as he re-creates the show that has gone from a piece performed mostly at fringe festivals to a touring work with sold-out crowds and television appearances!

Tickets for One Man Star Wars Trilogy are available at the Fredericton Playhouse box office 1-866-884-5800, or online at www.theplayhouse.ca.

Die-hard fans are encouraged to come in costume, so dig out your Storm Trooper armour and Jedi robes!
