The Bricklin Backstage Part 1: Bricklin Wheels and Deals
In anticipation of the Bricklin’s return to the Fredericton Playhouse stage this summer, we are pleased to unveil part one of The Bricklin Backstage – a series of podcasts produced by Jeremy VanSlyke that will bring audiences deeper into the Bricklin story. VanSlyke will talk to those who were part of the Bricklin saga in the 1970s, as well as those who are involved in the musical today.
In today’s podcast, Jim Gilbert (owner of Jim Gilbert’s Wheels and Deals) talks about his trip to Florida to pick up the 1975 Bricklin SV-1 used in The Fredericton Playhouse and Theatre New Brunswick’s production of The Bricklin: An Automotive Fantasy. Jim will tell us about his experiences with the car, as well as his impressions of the musical which returns this summer.
The Bricklin: An Automotive Fantasy opens Friday, July 22 and runs until Sunday, August 7. Show times will be Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are now on sale through the Fredericton Playhouse box office and the official Bricklin website www.bricklinmusical.ca.
Check out our Bricklin TV spot on the official Fredericton Playhouse YouTube channel and get your tickets before they’re gone!
